What SEED Society Analytics stores about you, why, and how to get rid of it. Last updated 21 September 2026.
This is a hobby site run by the North America society for its own members. It is not a company, it sells nothing, and it has no interest in you beyond showing you the society's numbers. There is no analytics, no advertising, no tracking of any kind, and nothing here is shared with anybody.
What is stored about you

| Your picture, if you upload one | Re-encoded to a small square PNG on arrival, which drops every piece of metadata the original carried — including where the photo was taken. |

Everything above is visible to other signed-in members, except your email, your password, and your IP address, which are not shown to anybody. The society's game data is not personal information at all — the exports describe the society as a whole and name no individual player.
Signing in with Discord
When you sign in with Discord, this site asks Discord for two things and no more:
- Who you are — your Discord account id and username. Your email is never requested.
- Whether you are in this society's Discord server — that one server, answered yes or no. The site does not ask for, and cannot see, a list of the other servers you are in.
The access token Discord issues is used for those two questions and then discarded. It is never written to the database, never written to a log, and never kept in your session, so this site cannot act on your Discord account afterwards and there is no live credential of yours in any backup.
You can unlink Discord at any time from your profile, as long as you have set a password first — otherwise unlinking would lock you out, and there is no reset email here to rescue you.
Cookies
Two, both necessary, neither of any use to anybody else: one that keeps you signed in, and one that protects forms from being submitted by another site on your behalf. Your light or dark preference is kept in your browser's own storage and never sent anywhere.
There are no advertising or analytics cookies, so there is no consent banner to dismiss.
Who else sees it
Nobody. The site runs on a machine the society controls, with its own database file. There is no third-party analytics, no advertising network, and no external font or script host: the one library the charts need is served from this site itself.
Two honest exceptions. If that local copy of the chart library fails to load, the page falls back to fetching it from a public CDN, which would see your address. And signing in with Discord is, unavoidably, a conversation with Discord — their privacy policy covers their side of it.
Getting rid of it
Delete your account from your profile, at any time, without asking anybody. It takes your profile, your picture, your display name, your Discord link, your watchlist, and the seedlings and businesses you listed.
What it does not take is the society's game data. Exports uploaded by administrators stay, because they describe the society rather than any person — the record that an import happened keeps the username of whoever uploaded it.
