Terms of use
The short version of what this site is and what is expected of you. Last updated 6 October 2026.
SEED Society Analytics is a hobby site run by and for the members of the North America society in SEED. It is free, it sells nothing, it is maintained by members in their own time, and using it is entirely optional — nothing in the game requires it and nobody is obliged to have an account. It is not made by, endorsed by, or affiliated with Klang Games. Using it means agreeing to what is below.
Who can be here
Members of the society's Discord server, who can sign in with Discord and get an account straight away, and anyone an administrator adds by hand. Everything behind the sign-in page is for members; please do not republish it elsewhere without asking.
One account per person. Do not share yours, and do not sign in as somebody else.
What you write here
Your display name, your seedlings and businesses, any picture you upload, and everything you post on the forum, the blog and the bug tracker are visible to every other signed-in member. Do not put anything here you would not want the society to read.
- Do not pretend to be somebody else. Your username is always shown beside whatever name you choose, for exactly this reason, and taking another member's username as a display name is refused outright.
- Only upload pictures you have the right to use.
- Nothing illegal, hateful, or aimed at harassing another member.
What you type stays yours. Putting it here lets the site show it to other members, and nothing more — it is not sold, not shared, and not used to train anything.
Deleting your account does not delete what you posted. Your profile, pictures, watchlist, seedlings, businesses and assistant transcripts go with it. Forum threads and replies, blog comments and bug reports stay, with your name taken off them — they appear afterwards as written by “a former member”. Removing them outright would take away one side of conversations other people are still having. If you want something you posted taken down as well, ask an administrator; they can remove any post. The privacy page sets out exactly what goes and what stays.
What administrators can do
Administrators can suspend or remove an account, edit or remove anything posted, and close new sign-ups. That is expected to be rare and is for keeping the place usable — impersonation, abuse, or something posted that should not have been.
If your account is suspended you will be told so when you try to sign in, rather than left guessing.
The numbers
Everything on the dashboard is worked out from CSV files exported from the game and uploaded by administrators. That means it is as old as the last upload, which the footer of every page tells you, and it is only as accurate as the export was.
Seedlings and businesses in the Directory are different: those are typed by members and are not checked against the game at all. The site marks them as claims, and shows skill levels against what the exports do know, precisely so the two are never confused.
What the machine writes
Two features here are written by a language model running on the society's own hardware: the assistant in the chat panel, and Seed Weekly on the blog. Both are marked as such wherever they appear.
Treat what they say as a starting point, not as a source. The assistant answers only from this site's own figures and pages, and says so rather than guessing, but it can still be wrong or miss the point of the question. Every figure in a Seed Weekly issue is checked against the data before it goes out; the sentences around those figures are not, and any editor can withdraw an issue in one press. If a number matters, read it off the dashboard.
No promises
The site is provided as it is. It may be wrong, slow, or switched off without notice, and nobody here is liable for a decision made on the strength of a number it showed you.
Backups are taken automatically and the settings page says when the last one worked, which is a great deal better than hoping. It is still one machine in somebody's house: do not treat this as the only copy of anything you care about.
Something unclear or unfair here? Say so — ask an administrator or raise it on the Discord server. These terms are meant to be reasonable, and they can be changed.
